This event features Temie Giwa-Tubosun, founder and CEO of LifeBank, an African healthcare supply chain engine. During this event, Temie will shed light on her experiences in starting Lifebank as well as navigating confounding logistical issues to deliver medical supplies and save millions of lives in Nigeria and Kenya. The event will be moderated by Nancy Nkoudou.

Temie Giwa-Tubosun studied International Public Management from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies. She has over 10 years of health management experience with the Department For International Development (DFID), World Health Organization, UNDP, and the Lagos State Government. In 2014, the BBC listed her as one of the 100 Women changing the world. She was also recognized as an African Innovator by Quartz and the World Economic Forum. She is the Founder and Group CEO of LifeBank; Africa's healthcare supply chain engine. The company helps hospitals discover essential medical supplies and delivers them in the right condition and on time.

Nancy Nkoudou is a masters student in Global Public Health and graduate in Cognitive Neuroscience from Brown University. Her passions for healthcare work involve multi-dimensional approaches to health and wellness promotion for parturients. Throughout her undergraduate and graduate education, she has spent substantial time in global and domestic clinical research settings learning about avenues to provide healthcare within resource-limited communities. As a certified interdisciplinary doula, her work involves improving birth outcomes by empowering birthing people and their families through holistic, culturally-relevant, evidence-based interventions.
